I don’t see why people have to act “hard” to be considered strong. People who are quiet & timid can be just as strong. Sometimes even stronger. Strong isn’t defined as your physical ability to pull through something. Not the vulgar of one’s language- but the heart of a person. The mentality to notice people’s faults but forgives. Builds a wall; but remembers to build another so when one goes down- there’s another standing.

Who makes you smile, who checks up on you often to see if you’re okay, who watches out for you and wants what’s the best for you, who loves you and respects you, don’t let em go. People like that are hard to find.
I wish I could just click the fast forward button to see how I’m going to end up 10 years from now, then rewind it back to now. So I could see if I’m heading down the right path or if I should turn back now before it’s too late. That every single obstacle I have to go through will all be worth it in the end. I just wish I knew so I could live in the moment rather than stressing too much about the future 24/7. But I guess that’s what makes life so interesting. The uncertainty of it all.
So many girls fall for those guys who sag their pants so low and flaunt their underwear, who stick their middle fingers up in every picture, who constantly use profanity and vulgarity in their everyday language, and who endlessly speak badly about others just for a laugh. The girls think they have found this hot, “bad boy” and the guys think they are so cool and “thug,” when in reality, that’s really not the case. Girls, don’t you want a guy that calls you his “princess” instead of his “bitch”? Don’t you want a guy who holds the door open for you rather than a guy who should be holding up his sagging pants? Don’t you want a guy that speaks with manners, instead of a guy that speaks with profanity? Don’t you want the guy who acts like a gentleman, instead of one that acts like a thug? Don’t you want a guy that you’re proud to be with? Don’t you want a guy that you would happily bring home to meet your family?
n. the surge of energy upon catching a glance from someone you like—a thrill that starts in your stomach, arcs up through your lungs and flashes into a spontaneous smile—which scrambles your ungrounded circuits and tempts you to chase that feeling with a kite and a key.
If she texts you, text her back. If she wants to hang with you, hang with her. If she wants to talk to you, talk to her. If she wants to hug you, hug her. If she wants to hold your hand, let her. Just because she’s yours at the moment, doesn’t mean she will be in the future. Treat her right or someone else will.
